YEAR 0-6 SUMMER BASKETBALL 3 v 3 COMPETITION

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE MONDAY 21 SEPTEMBER AT 12PM

DATES: Monday 19 October - Monday 14 December (8 weeks)

VENUES: Games are played at Mercury Bay Park.

COACH (Optional): There is NO COACHING for this competition when the game is being played. If there is a parent able to coach, then you can run a practice session at Taumata School.

MANAGER (Compulsory): A parent is required for each game to help with rolling subs and the scoreboard for games. A manager is also required to communicate with parents when games are and making sure we have enough players for a team each week.

COST: $55.00 per player for the eight week competition. We require a minimum of four players to enter a team. There is also a one-off Tauranga Basketball Levy of $5 that is payed once per year.

UNIFORMS: Students will be issued a sports uniform to play in. These need to be washed and returned at the end of the basketball season. Lost or severely damaged uniforms will incur a charge for replacement.

DETAILS: Referees will be provided for all games as part of the fees paid. Each game is 10 minutes and teams play at least two games, sometimes three games a night. First games tip off at 4.00pm.
