2026 WINTER SPORTS TERM 3 TUESDAY 25TH AUGUST
CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT: FRIDAY 14th AUGUST 2026

All Matarawa and Puwhenua Year 5 and 6 students will be participating in the upcoming Winter Sports Tournament, which is held during school hours on Tuesday August 25th, Term 3. This event is a fantastic opportunity for our students to engage in friendly competition, foster teamwork, and build connections with other Year 5 and 6 students from various schools.
NOTE: The Mini Ball Tournament will be held on Friday 28th August rather than Tuesday 25th August. Thursday 27th is also set aside if the event is postponed.

COST: $10.00
There will be a cost of $10 to cover tournament expenses like transport, field hire, referees, etc. Please complete the form to give permission to attend the tournament and make payment.

Closing date for payment is Friday, August 14th.
On 25th August the Teams will leave school at approximately 8:45am and return by 2:30pm.
If teams are running late, we will update parents via HERO

PAYMENT:
We no longer accept direct payments into the School Bank Account for "user pays" activities which are loaded onto the School Website Online Shop under "ACTIVITIES". Note that if payments are made into the School Bank Account in error, it will be refunded to you so that you can make payment correctly through the School Website Online Shop.
Please make payment by the closing date of Friday 14th August 2026 to ensure that your child can be registered to attend Winter Sports. You will NOT be able to register after this date as we are required to make confirmation with Service providers. You are only able to give permission, pay and register using the School Website Online Shop.
REMINDERS:
We will continue to send general reminders to all parents through HERO notices so please ensure you keep your email confirmation of payment and registration from the Website Online Shop to prevent making double payments. If you prefer to access your payment history, then please ensure you have created an account when logging into our School Website.
