REGISTRATIONS CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY 1 JULY AT 12PM

Who: Boys or girls currently playing winter netball for the school OR any other kids that would like to give a netball tournament a go. For Year 3 and Year 4 you do not have to have played previously.For Year 5-8 if you have not played previously you need to upskill before the tournament on some rules so that you enjoy the experience so I will pair you up with a friend that has played previously to give you a hand. Please let me know on the form if this is you.

Teams: We need minimum numbers to enter teams and we are also limited with how many teams we can enter into each tournament level. Where possible, Winter teams will be kept together.

Dates: Year 3, 4 and 5 teams - Wednesday 29 July (postponement date Wednesday 5 August)
Year 6, 7 and 8 teams - Wednesday 12 August (postponement date Wednesday 19 August)

Times: Starting at 9.00am so leaving Taumata School at 8.15am. Finishes at 2.30pm so returning to Taumata School about 3.00pm.

Venue: Tauranga Netball Centre, Mount Maunganui.

Cost: $7 per player

Game Details: Games will be shorter (two halves), but all other rules are the same as Saturday netball.

Parent Help:

MANAGER - each team MUST have a parent to manage the team throughout the day. This role is to supervise and rotate players on and off the court fairly through the day. Assistance with rotating players will be provided if necessary.

UMPIRES - Year 3/4 teams have an umpire on the court for each team helping to direct the kids around and to help them with the rules, but there is no whistle. Each Year 3/4 team will require a parent to assist on the court. Year 5-8 teams have an umpire and the Sports Coordinator will sort umpires for the Year 5 teams.

TRANSPORT - we will need Police Vetted parents to transport children to and from the tournament.

Without parents to manage, umpire our Year 3/4 teams and transport, teams will not be entered.
