IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY: One activity involves jumping into a swimming pool at the deep end (above children's head height) and kicking to the other end of the pool (shallow end) on tyre tubes. Children will be supervised at the deep end of the pool 100% of the time during this activity by someone prepared to jump into the pool if required, but there are still risks involved. By completing this form you are aware that this activity is part of the day and you are giving consent for your child to participate in that activity. WHEN: Year 7/8 - Thursday 19 March. Year 6 - Friday 20 March.

TIMES: Approximately 8.00am departure from Taumata School and approximately 3.00pm return to Taumata School. More exact timing will be available closer to the event.

WHERE: Omokoroa No. 1 School, Corner Plummers Point Road and Emeny Road (NOT IN OMOKOROA)

WHAT: Complete activities and solve problems as a team competing against other teams.

EQUIPMENT: Togs and towel will be required for water activities. Sports shoes are compulsory for some activities. Wear your Taumata PE shirt, shorts, skirt, bike pants of your choice. Bring plenty of food and water for the day. A hat and sunblock will be required. Any other personal items you need.

COST: $10 per team member.

SUPERVISION AND TRANSPORT: Steve the Sports Coordinator will supervise on the day, but we do need help with transport as the school vans are at camp and unavailable.
