SOCIAL FAST FOOTBALL (SOCCER) YEAR 0-8

      Who:              Boys and Girls 5-12 years old, Year 0-8. We will put in girls only teams if we have                                enough players available, but please let me know on the form. Unless I hear                                        otherwise I will enter Girls Only first, then place girls in a mixed team.

Dates:            Tuesday afternoons starting on Tuesday 17 February. 

Where:           Morland Fox Park, Greerton.

Cost:              $20 each player (minimum 6 players required to enter a team).

Referee:         Each team MUST have a parent prepared to referee.  

Details:          5 aside competition, games start from 4.00pm and a draw will be available before 

                      the season starts. Two 19-minute halves.

As we require parent/caregiver involvement all teams will need a Coach/Manager who will need to be available to referee. It is an introduction to football so refereeing is really just pointing the kids in the right direction, encouraging them and keeping them safe. You could get an older sibling to assist as well. The other team will have a Coach/Manager that will help also. Coaching is a minimum requirement of showing up ten minutes before the game starts and having a kick around. Managing is knowing when the games are on, what field, rotating subs, three cheers and high fives after the game plus checking the Blue Rovers Football website and communicating with your player's parents if the game is cancelled. If you would like to support your child's team and are interested in helping out, please specify in the registration form below. In the event we do not have a coach or manager, teams will not be submitted.
