WBOP Year 5&6 Primary Orienteering

ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY 3 NOVEMBER AT 9AM

WHO: Year 5-6 Boys and Girls (individual or teams of 2-3 people) keen to give orienteering a go.

SKILLS: You will be given a map of the Waipuna Park area and need to find as many stations as possible within the 45 minute timeframe. There will be competitive orienteerers and social orienteerers giving it a go.

WHEN: Thursday 13 November from 10.00am-12.00pm (leaving 9.30am from Taumata School, returning about 12.30pm to Taumata School)

WHERE: Waipuna Park, Welcome Bay

COST: $10 per competitor (individual or team)

ENTRIES: Each school is limited to 16 entries. You will have the choice of whether you want to compete individually or as a team, however, we may need to enter more teams to allow more children to be able to participate.

Some parent help from police vetted parents will be required to transport students to and from the event and provide supervision on the day.
