TE RAUHEA AND WAIKOHUA TRIP TO MAUAO (MT MAUNGANUI)-THURSDAY 20TH NOVEMBER

We are excited to offer the opportunity for children in the Mauao Hub to visit Mauao (Mt Maunganui) in Week 7 of Term 4, where we will explore this significant landmark, and wrap-up our conceptual learning for this semester.
NOTE: This opportunity is optional and is 'USER PAYS' for our students.
DATE: THURSDAY 20th November: Mauao 1 and 2 learners.
COST: $13.00 per student which covers transport by bus.
PARENT SUPPORT: For this experience to go ahead we require parent support for our ratios. Please indicate if you are able to come along on this date to support our students. Parent helpers will be responsible for their own travel to and from Mt Maunganui.
WHAT TO BRING: Children will need to wear their school uniform, including a warm jumper, sun hat, and covered shoes suitable for walking. They will also need their own packed lunch with plenty of nutritious food, and a drink bottle as they would on a normal school day.
PAYMENT:
We are no longer able to accept direct payments into the School Bank Account for optional activities. All "user pays" activities for 2025 are now loaded onto the School Website Online Shop under "ACTIVITIES". Note that if you make payment into the school bank account in error, it will be refunded to you and payment will need to be made correctly through the Website shop. Please make payment by the closing date of Friday 07th November to ensure your child is registered to attend this event. No late registrations will be accepted. Once you have confirmed registration we are unable to offer refunds as confirmation will have been sent to the Service providers. You are only able to give final Pemission, pay and register using the School Website Online Shop.

We will continue to send general reminders through Hero notices but please note that you can only confirm permission, register and pay using this online form on the School Website. Parents will receive a confirmation email once registration and payment is completed using the online shop so keep this email to ensure you do not make double payments when you get general Hero reminders. If you prefer to be able to view history of future orders, registrations and payments you will need to create an account first on the School Website and then login before placing your orders and registrations for activities.
Closing date for permission and payment: Thursday 07th November 2025
If we do not receive this permission, registration and payment from you we will assume that you do not wish for your child to attend this event.
