2025 TALL POPPIES - WEDNESDAY 5th NOVEMBER
ONLY YEAR 7 & 8 STUDENTS WHO HAVE OPTED IN
CLOSING DATE: Friday 24th OCT 2025
Your child has opted in to the Tall Poppies Year 7/8 Athletics event that is happening on Wednesday 5th November from 8.30-2.30pm. The Tall Poppies cluster are those full primary or secondary schools that have Year 7/8 attached to them (like us!). Tall Poppies events are an opportunity for our Year 7 and 8 students to come together and compete against other students their age in our region and includes schools like Pyes Pā, Ōropi, Omokoroa No.1, Omokoroa Point, Tauriko and Tauranga Adventist School.
The school is covering all other costs of the athletics events, however, we do ask that each student attending the athletics event makes a contribution to cover the cost of the bus (an extracurricular cost).
COST: The cost per child for transport is $7.50
Please complete payment for this event through the Website shop by week 3 Friday 24th October.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
We are no longer able to accept direct payments into the School Bank Account for user pays activities. All "user pays" activities for 2025 are loaded onto the School Website Online Shop under "ACTIVITIES". Once you have confirmed registration we are unable to offer refunds as confirmation will have been provided to Service providers.

We will continue to send general reminders through Hero notices but please note that you can only confirm permission, register and pay using this online form on the School Website. Parents will receive a confirmation email once registration and payment is completed using the online shop so keep this email to ensure you do not make double payments when you get general Hero reminders. If you prefer to be able to view history of future orders, registrations and payments you will need to create an account first on the School Website and then login before placing your orders and registrations for activities.
