OHANE Y2/3 FUNKY FUN DAY - WEDNESDAY 12TH NOVEMBER 2025

In Term 4, we have an EOTC (Education Outside of the Classroom) excursion planned for Ōhane tamariki. This will take place on Wednesday 12th November (Week 6).
Funky Fun Day is a BayActive run event where our tamariki can play against other schools and receive skills coaching for several different sports. The event is held at Mercury Baypark. We will travel via Bus from Taumata School to the event in the morning and return to school before the end of our usual school day.
This activity is OPTIONAL and is 'USER PAYS' for our students. The cost for this event is $16 per child.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PAYMENT:
We are no longer able to accept direct payments into the School Bank Account for "user pays" activities. All "user pays" activities for 2025 are loaded onto the School Website Online Shop under "ACTIVITIES". Note that if payment is made into the School Bank Account it will be refunded to you, and payment will need to be made correctly on the School Website Online Shop.
Please make payment by the closing date of Tuesday 28th October to ensure that your child can be registered to attend this Event. No late registrations will be accepted. Once you have confirmed registration, we are unable to offer refunds as confirmation will already be with Service providers. You are only able to give final permission, pay and register using the School Website Online Shop.

Leaving School at: 9am
Returning to School: by 2.25pm
Transport: Children will be transported by bus from and to School
Cost: $16 per student

REMINDERS:
We will continue to send general reminders through Hero notices. Parents will receive a confirmation email once registration is complete so keep this email to ensure you do not make double payments when you get general reminders. If you prefer to access your payment history, then please ensure you have created an account when logging into our School Website.

If we do not receive a registration and payment from you, we will assume that you do not wish for your child to attend this event.
