HOCKEY TOURNAMENT YEAR 5/6

PLEASE NOTE: This form is for Winter Hockey players from Year 5/6 from the Taumata Taipans and Taumata Trumpets teams only. All other children please contact Steve first, [email protected]

Venue: Tauranga Hockey Centre, Blake Park, Mount Maunganui.

Date: Tuesday 19th August.

Time: 9.00am-2:30pm. Meet at school at 8.00am at the earliest, return to school at 3.00pm at the latest. A draw will be released close to the tournament date with start times and finishes times which confirms the leaving time and return time.

Cost: $5 per player.

Equipment: Mouthguards, sticks and shin guards are compulsory. You will also need your Taumata sports shirt if you have one, warm clothes, food and drink for the day. Apart from the Taumata sports shirt you DO NOT need to wear your Taumata uniform.

Parent Help: This activity will not go ahead without parents to help with transport and assisting the children on the day (possibly umpiring and organising the team). Please volunteer to help if you can. I will ask some Year 7/8 Taumata hockey players to umpire, but this is not guaranteed.
