Basketball Year 3-4

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY 2 APRIL 

Venue: TO BE CONFIRMED. Haumaru Centre (old Warehouse building on Cameron Road) OR QEYC OR Mercury Baypark Arena.

Date: Tuesday 6 May - Tuesday 19 August. Game times will vary and a draw will be available each week.

Fees: $125.00 per player + $5.00 levy to be paid directly to Tauranga Basketball Association when registering your child (to be paid once per year only - will not pay if played 3v3 basketball in Term 1)

Year 3-4: There are five players on the court for Year 3-4. We require a minimum 7 players to register a team and will have a maximum of 10 players in a team.

Mouth guards are COMPULSORY for Year 3-4 and children will need to purchase one.

A, B, C, D grades available depending on entries.

A coach is required for basketball to help the players on court as well as helping them with the rules. A manager will help keep the team informed of the games and help to sub players on and off the court during a game to ensure even playing time for all players.

Some teams will organise a practice before school, at lunchtime or after school and it is over to the team to organise this. Hall bookings can be made through the sports coordinator.
