Kiwisticks Hockey Year 5-6

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY 2 APRIL

There is space in the Year 5/6 team that is mainly Year 5 players. First in basis.

Venue: Tauranga Hockey Centre, Blake Park, Mount Maunganui

Date:  Saturday mornings from Saturday 10th May 

Fees: $105 per player. 

Equipment: Mouthguards and shin guards are compulsory. Players will also need a hockey stick.

About Kiwisticks: This is a 6 aside competition, so ideally a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 10 players per team to allow a good amount of playing time for everyone. Teams are graded based on gender, ability and age. 

Coach: A coach is able to help the children on the day with warming up, rotating subs, the basic rules of the game and to provide some direction of where to stand and what to do. Practices are optional and can be organised by teams before school, during lunchtimes or after school. There are optional coaches workshops that will be running in April / May if you are interested. Manager: A manager is able to communicate with the team on when and where games/practices are,  and any cancellations.
